Vedike seeks code of conduct for MLC polls

In a press release, Phalguni said that huge amount of money is being poured during these elections and at certain places, there have been instances where voters have been given gold and cash. He urged the voters to cast their votes sensibly and send right candidate as their representatives.

He said that the condition of the roads are bad all over. There is an immediate need to repair Mudigere-Beluru-Jannapura road. Since there are statements that both Shiradi and Charmadi ghats will be closed down, Byrapura-Shishila road must be repaired at the earliest. He said that though most of the resrvoirs and dams in the state are full, there is unscheduled load shedding going on, which is affecting students, farmers and business. He said that load shedding is being done for over 6 hours and if state government does not do the needful, then farmers and students will rise in protest against the government.
