JOIN USBangalore City traffic police have restricted movement of vehicles in and around Kanteerva Stadium in the view of TCS world 10K Bangalore 2104 marathon scheduled on Sunday from 6 am to 11 am.
Vehicular movement and parking is prohibited on Kasturba Road, Anil Kumble Circle, Cubbon Road, Kamaraja Road, Dickenson Road, Ulsoor Road, Queens Road, Ambedkar Road, interior roads of Cubbon park from 6 am to 11 am.
Vehicles coming from JC Road and going towards Vidhana Soudha and Raj Bhavan should reach Police Corner and proceed on KG Road, Old Post Office Road, KR Circle to reach Ambedkar Veedhi and onwards.
Vehicles coming from JC Road moving towards Old Madras road via MG Road should proceed on to Devanga Road from Hudson Circle, Mission Road, Richmond flyover, Residency Road to proceed further.
Vehicles from Shivaji Nagar should reach Balekundri Circle and proceed on to Cunningham road, Chandrika Hotel junction, LRDE junction, Basaveshwara Circle and move further.
Vehicles from Balekundri Circle should take left turn at the traffic headquarters to reach Infantry Road and proceed further.
Vehicles from Anil Kumble Circle can take left turn at Queens Circle to proceed on to Lavelle Road, Kasturba Road to move further . Goods vehicles entering the City from Old Madras Road should proceed towards Suranjan Das Road to reach Old Airport road and go further.
Similarly, vehicles going towards Bellary Road should proceed on St John's Church Road, from Ulsoor Lake, Cantonment, Jayamahal Road to reach Mekhri Circle and proceed further.
Vehicles from Old Airport Road towards MG Road will move towards ASC centre, D’Souza Circle to reach Richmond Circle and proceed further.
Vehicles from Web junction should take left turn at Trinity junction to proceed on to Gangadhar Chetty Road, St John’s Church Road to reach Haj camp, Nandidurga Road to reach Mekhri Circle and proceed further.
Vehicles from JC Road and NR Road should proceed on KG Road and take right turn at Mysore Bank Circle to go to Palace Road and proceed towards Mekhri Circle.
Since vehicle movement is banned on Cubbon Road, vehicles coming from Infantry Road should proceed on Dickenson Road, Gangadhar Chetty Road to reach Old Madras Road and proceed further.
Vehicles coming from JC Road towards Shivajinagar, MG Road and Ulsoor should take right turn at Bharat Junction at Minerva Circle to reach H Siddaiah Soad, Urvashi theatre, KH Road to reach Richmond Circle and proceed further.
Parking arrangement for participants is made in UB City and St Joseph's Indian High School. Spectators who come to watch the marathon can park their vehicles onto the left side of King's Road and KG Road.
