But in reality, a film “Chota Don” is being screened there. And its not a new Bollywood release. Instead it is a film made by a local youth of Dhaura Tanda town in Bareilly district shot through a mobile phone camera.

The film is making waves in this town and people from the nearby areas are also thronging the town cinema hall to watch the locally made movie.
The 100-minute movie has everything to make it a hit. “It has action, fun and romance,” reveals film director and cameraman Uvais.

He says the role of “Chota Don” has been performed by a local youth Abdul Kalam. “Its a copy of Rajpal Yadav’s character in the film Partner,” Uvais said.

“There is not much of a story. Its about a man, who turns into a don in the area but it has a lot of hit Bollywood numbers and the local artistes have danced on them,” he says. On how the idea of making such a film came to his mind, Uvais said Kalam is fond of acting. So we decided to make a film on our own.

A student of hardware technology, Uvais admits that there are many shortcomings in the film. “We will make another film and will ensure that we do not commit the same mistakes,” he said.
