The City Police Commissioner has passed an order permitting eateries in the City to remain open till 1 am on all the days. But no order has such been issued on extending the timings of bars and pubs.
Hotels and restaurants can be kept open till 1 am. The new order will be in effect till June 30, 2015.
It has also made provision to keep bars and restaurants open till 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
For rest of the days, hotels can be kept open, as per the order.
The government had extended the nightlife in Bangalore on experimental basis three months ago.
