<p>The Budget Session of Parliament is likely to be convened from July 7 and may go on till July 31.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The Union Cabinet on Wednesday discussed the dates of the first Budget session of the Narendra Modi government.<br /><br />During the first week of the session, the pre-budget Economic Survey, the Railway Budget and the General Budget are expected to be presented in Parliament, sources said.<br /><br />Both the budgets have to be cleared before July-end as the Votes-on Account taken before Lok Sabha elections will expire by July-end.<br /><br />“We discussed about when should the Budget session be held ...we have discussed the dates. But there is a modality of finalisation of the dates. Once those modalities are complete, we’ll convey to you,” Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad told reporters after the Cabinet meeting. </p>
