A real estate businessman, who had married recently, was killed on the spot in Rajajinagar in the early hours of Sunday when his BMW bike crashed into a footpath after he had lost balance.
Arun Kumar Patil, 26, a native of Davangere, fell off the bike and his torso was sandwiched between the footpath and the bike near Ramkumar Mills around 2.45 am, the Rajajinagar traffic police said.
He died of grievous internal injuries. Patil had settled in the City a few years ago and was staying in Basaveshwarnagar. He had married recently, the police added.
