<p>The Karnataka Examinations Authority has opened the option entry process for the second extended round of counselling from Thursday, July 17, 2014. <br /><br /></p>.<p>As per the seat matrix hosted on the KEA website, there are 444 medical seats in general category, 98 in H-K quota and 17 special category seats. In dental, there are 56 available seats in general quota, 48 in H-K quota and 3 in special category quota. <br /><br />In addition, there are 473 engineering seats in general quota, 41 in H-K quota and 16 in special category. In architecture, there are 15 general seats, 1 H-K quota and 1 special category seat. There are 877 management surrendered seats as on 17 July. <br /><br />The option entry will be open till July 21, 2014. The seat allotment will be published on July 22. The last date for reporting to colleges is July 28, 2014. <br /></p>
