MLAs likely to stay away from Session

“The CM is worried over the possible absence of MLAs. He will be in soup if the Opposition moves a no confidence motion.The CM is doing is best to patch up with with disgruntled MLAs,” a senior party leader said. The CM is scheduled to hold meetings with his close confidants and MP Ananthkumar on Sunday to workout a a pacifying solution.

Meeting with RSS leaders

Keshava Krupa, the RSS head office in Bangalore, on Saturday again became a beehive of activities following renewed dissident activities in the BJP. RSS leaders including Jayadev held a series of talks with the various BJP leaders - Aravind Limbavali, Krishna Palemar, D H Shankarmurthy, Thontadarya besides B Y Raghavendra, MP and son of Yeddyurappa - on the developments in the Party.

While some MLAs want to become ministers, others want to become chairpersons of boards and corporations. Some of them are unhappy as their demands to improve their constituencies have not been met by the CM, it is said.

The exercise of BJP MLAs meeting RSS leaders began about 10 days ago. The legislators have been expressing their views on the style of functioning of the CM and the administration.
