Disguised as a documentary film maker from abroad who wanted to film an rural Indian wedding, Aamir Khan landed at the house of Ramandeep Kaur where relatives had assembled for  “mehendi” ceremony on the eve of her wedding on Sunday.

As the suspense lifted over the uninvited visitor, there was mad rush in the village to get a glance of the Bollywood star.

Aamir willingly obliged the merrymakers at the wedding by dancing with Kaur and her friends. He also broke into impromptu “bhangra” — the folk dance of Punjab — with the men folk and also sang a song for the audience, much to the delight of everybody around.

“Sorry, I have come uninvited,” he told the gathering and then stayed over for two hours at the bride’s house. Later, he invited her along with her husband for his film’s premiere at Mumbai later this month.

“This is a ring I am giving you to be gifted to your husband. You are both invited to watch the film’s premiere with me at Mumbai,” said Aamir while presenting a ring to Kaur.
Earlier, Aamir visited former cricket captain Saurav Ganguly’s home in Kolkata in the guise of a fan of the player.
