Arvind bagged the full 20 points on offer in the K1000 rally for a total of 76 points, and the race also witnessed TVS team closing all the top three positions with ease in the Group B 4S (131-165) category. Pramod Joshua finished second in the race to pocket the overall championship with 70 points while R Natraj came third and claimed the third spot in the National Championship with 60 points. “I am extremely happy that I have won the National title and our team has finished the rally and Overall Championship 1-2-3,” said Arvind.
The K1000 Rally, started at Kotahalli, about 140 kms from downtown Bangalore, finished at about 4 pm, with 32 of the 41 entrants finishing the rally. It was the fourth and final round of the Indian National Rally Championship. The earlier three rounds were run in Coimbatore, Chikmagalur, and Mysore.
