If all goes well, Air Show will make a comeback during Nada Habba Dasara this year.

Air Show was a major crowd puller during previous years of Dasara. However, it couldn’t be organised last year, due to the delay in initiating the process.

Similarly, Sound and Light show by the Songs and Drama division of the Information department will be held at Oval Grounds.

Unlike the previous years, celebrations this year will be extended to Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts. A total of 20 sub-committees will be formed comprising 20 members in each sub-committee. Prior to this, a reception committee will be formed shortly to formally invite Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, wife of late Srikantadatta Wadiyar, litterateur Girish Karnad, and Governor K Rosaiah.

Prasad said that there will be no dearth of funds, and Rs 6.75 crore out of the total Rs 12 crore earmarked for the festival, had already been released.
