JOIN US A 17-year-old mentally unsound girl was sexually assaulted by her cousins over a long period at their residence in Nagawara.
According to police, the grandfather of the victim registered a complaint stating that she was subjected to sexual abuse by Mudassir, 20, and Mubassir, a minor, both students. They are a joint family and were staying together.
Recently, one of the family members saw the two boys misbehaving with the girl and informed the others. On Monday evening, the grandfather confirmed the sexual abuse and registered a complaint with the KG Halli police station.
“Their residence comes under the DJ Halli police limits. So, we will transfer it to the DJ Halli police. The duo are yet to be arrested, after which they will be questioned. The victim will be subjected to medical test,” said a senior police officer.
