Telangana awaits PM's statement

TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao has warned that if the Centre backtracked, it will pay a heavy price. “There will be a nuclear explosion if the Centre backtracks,” he said.

A statement from the prime minister  is expected to set off a process of resolution of the crisis. “We are waiting for prime minister ’s statement. We will react to it and announce our future course of action”.

“For us, Telangana state has already been formed but in case they go back on their statement, the people of Telangana know how to react. Even military and police will not be able to stop them from achieving their goal,” he said.
