Ahead of the Civil Services preliminary examination on August 24, the Department of Personnel and Training clarified on Saturday that marks of the English language comprehension skill will not be counted for gradation or merit even if candidates attempt the questions in this section.
“Candidates must note that the section on English language comprehension skills would not count towards gradation or merit,” it said.
