JOIN USAs part of the Independence Day celebrations, Sonido Musicals is presenting ‘August Rush’, a music event.
The event aims at giving artistes a platform to express themselves.
Bringing together various artistes to celebrate the power of music, the event will witness performances spanning across several genres and languages including Hindi, Kannada, English and Bengali, by popular progressive and Indian rock bands from across the state.
Known for progressive rock, ‘Rainburn’ will churn out music that is experimental in nature, exploring the fusion between western and eastern influences.
Suryagrahan, a band from Mysore, will treat the audience to its metal influenced music.
Joining them will be other popular bands — Saptaswara, ‘Cardio’, Aatma and more.
The event will be held on August 22, 6 pm onwards, at Sonido Musicals, opposite Catholic Club, Brigade Road.
