The grand  finale of Miss and Mr Teen India 2014 saw an impressive participation of youngsters.

The crowning moment is always special and so it was for Delhiite Aakansha and Vishal Rathi from Noida who were recently announced the Miss and Mr Teen India 2014 at an event organised at  Talkatora Stadium recently.

Organised by Alee Club, the 17th Miss & Mr Teen India was an IQ and personality contest. The grand finale held at the stadium was specially designed to raise awareness about HIV/Aids and enabled the club to achieve a new milestone by disseminating the strong message of ‘Beware & Make Others Aware’.

Celebrities from the glam world – Sushant Singh, Ashmit Patel, Aman Verma and Mukul Dev, were present to judge the youngsters and encourage them to perform with more confidence. They appreciated and applauded the performance of the participants and made it a memorable evening for them.

The contest had four rounds – the introduction round, fashion choreography round, judges question round and written common question round. All these attracted the participants, all enthusiastic youngsters aged between 13-19 years. They had been short-listed through written tests and interviews in the previous rounds held in different states.

The short-listed participants were then trained and groomed under the guidance of choreographer Sambita Bose. Ramp walk, personality development, beauty tips, etc were taught during these sessions by panellists such as famous model Amanpreet Wahi. This motivated the enthusiastic youngsters to face the judges and the
audience confidently.

The participants showcased their talents and skills during the grand finale. It was the final round of written common question – that decided the fate of four boys and four girls short listed from the previous two rounds.

During the event, there were also exciting and entertaining dance performances by students of Alee Academy for Performing Arts, also choreographed by Bose. The audience enjoyed these performances thoroughly, especially when they spotted actors Sushant Singh, Ashmit Patel, Aman Verma and Mukul Dev joining the youngsters on stage.

The winners received awards from these actors and felt honoured. While Aakansha and Vishal Rathi were announced the winners, Miss Teen India 1st Runner-up was Stefy Patel (Jharkhand) and Mr Teen India 1st Runner-up was Pranshu Malik (Delhi).

Miss Teen India 2nd Runner up was Advitya Verma (Kanpur) and Mr Teen India 2nd Runner-up was Sahil Soni (Delhi).
