Former chief minister and JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy on Wednesday said the State government had gone against the law by annulling the selection list of Civil Services Examination-2011 conducted by KPSC.
Concluding the 21-day agitation by the selected candidates at Freedom Park, Kumaraswamy said his party would lend all support to the candidates approaching the Karnataka High Court.
“The Law department has opposed the cancellation of the selection list, but the government went ahead with its decision. It has held two persons accountable for the so-called wrongdoings in the KSPCB. I ask Chief Minister Siddaramaiah why he spared others involved in the case,” he said.
