A variety of delicacies await one at ‘Three Quarter Chinese’ on Church Street. Their buffet has always been popular among the foodies of the City. However, ‘The Wow Buffet’, which was introduced a month back, offers an even wider variety for one to choose from. So one can indulge in a range of cuisines like Chinese, Thai, North Indian and South Indian.

“We came up with the multi-cuisine menu to add a variety to our buffet. We wanted our customers to savour signature dishes from different parts of the world under one roof. So with this buffet, they can enjoy different tastes and flavours,” says Vikas, the executive chef.

The buffet consists a number of soups like eight treasure chicken soup (a soup with eight different vegetables), tomato flavoured veg broth, stir-fry veg, stir-fried prawns and kebabs.

There is an ‘Oriental known suey’ for dinner which consists of spiced stew with an assortment of vegetables, noodles and condiments. The buffet has a range of bread-based starters and salads.

Shekhar, the manager, says, “We also have a series of live counters where cooking takes place on the spot such like the chaat, dimsum, shawarma, tandoor, appam and dosa counters. People can see the food being cooked in hygienic condition.” There is an attractive dessert counter as well which consists of flan, savouries and cakes like berry frost and creme de jelly. Vikas says, “The biggest attraction for kids and families is the chocolate fountain. People

like to have marshmallows dipped in this. We keep experimenting with our menu throughout the week and hence, serve different kinds of cuisines everyday.”
