KEA extends last date for admission

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the last date for admission to medical and dental courses to August 27 for students who were allotted seats in the extended round of counselling.

The KEA had hosted the seat allotment for the extended round on August 20 and it had asked the students to pay the fees before August 25. The students should carry admission orders downloaded from the KEA portal while reporting to the colleges. 

The KEA will also conduct competitive exam for recruitment of staff nurses, assistant librarian and physiotherapists at Dharwad Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences.The exam will be held in Dharwad on August 24 at 10.30 am. Admission tickets are available on the KEA official website (kea.kar.nic.in).

Candidates appearing for the examination have to carry a blue or black ballpoint pen to mark answers on the OMR sheet. 

The candidate copy of the OMR answer sheet can be collected from the invigilator at the end of the test session. 

If unable to download admission tickets from the website, candidates have to carry two photographs along with a copy of their application form to the exam centre and contact the principal to obtain the duplicate admission ticket.
