School health for NSS officers from today

The programm will be held at Bhavaprakash Auditorium in the College premises.
Speaking to the media persons, Vice Principal Prof K R Ramachandra informed the programme will be inaugurated by Rajiv Gandhi University Vice Chancellor Dr S Ramanand Shetty.

150 delegates

As many as 150 programme officers are expected to take part in the programme. The programme focuses on the issues related to environment, school children health and sanitation.

Talks on ‘Common emergencies in school children and its management,’ ‘Brain and body, toning through yoga’,

‘Involvement of NSS in school health programme,’ ‘Role of school children in community health,’ ‘psychological aspects of mental health in school children,’ will be delivered, he said.
Training programmes are held under National Rural Health Mission for medical officers, nurses and pharmacists will be held on January 8.

About 200 people are expected to be part of the venture, he said. Dr T H M Marideva Sharma, Keshu Raghav Murthy and C H Nagesh were present on the occasion.
