JOIN USA 32-year-old man allegedly attempted to molest two minor girls at his house in Somanahalli in Talaghattapura recently.
The suspect Puttachari is absconding and the police have launched a manhunt for him.According to the police, a woman regularly supplied flowers to Puttachari, a tailor.
A few days ago, she sent her nine-year-old daughter to his house with flowers. Puttachari took the girl inside his house on the pretext of giving her chocolates and tried to molest her, police said.
The girl refused to take flowers to his house next day. When asked, she disclosed his acts to her mother.
The furious mother went to his house to inquire. enroute, she met one of her friends, who told her that he had attempted a similar act with her 11-year-old daughter as well, police said.
The victim’s mother approached the police and lodged a complaint, including her friend’s version in the complaint. Puttachari has been booked under POCSO Act and attempt to rape, police said.
