'Nazeer had visited Khader's house for marriage ceremony'

Nazeer was brought to Nirmalagiri following the information that he was staying in a house which belong to one Abdul Khader.

It can be recalled that Khader was also detained by the CCB sleuths recently for helping the terrorist by providing place to stay. The police team took Nazeer to a ginger plantation in Hosathota in Somavarpet taluk on Monday.

Later, on Monday, the police team took Nazeer to Khader’s house in Nirmalagiri and recorded the statements of latter’s wife Zubeida.  The CCB also team took statements from Nazeer as well as Khader.

Khader reportedly told police that Nazeer had visited his house in connection with a marriage ceremony. Khader told police that he has no other connections with Nazeer. The CCB team, which is camping in the district, will be visiting Hosathota again for further investigation. Police did not allow mediapersons to take photos or video footage throughout the investigation process. Nazeer was brought to Kodagu by the CCB team including Assistant Commissioner of Police Omkaraiah, Sub Inspector Poovaiah and constables.  

The police is interrogating all suspects, who allegedly helped Nazeer during his visit to the place.
