Strive to make dreams reality: Bishop

He was delivering the presidential address at the golden death anniversary ceremony of Servant of God Raymond F C Mascarenhas, who was the founder of Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany (SLFB), Mangalore and former Vicar General of
Mangalore Diocese, at the St Sebastian Platinum Jubilee Auditorium here on Wednesday.

Bishop said that all visionaries in the world had their own dreams towards society. Mahatma Gandhi had a dream of free and independent India. Similarly, Martin Luther too had vision about people and their dreams were realised through dedication, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, SLFB superior general M Jyoti said that the Congregation which started functioning with 5 diocese 50 years ago has been extended to 50 diocese and 164 convents now. She said that the golden death anniversary of Servant of God will be observed for the next one year.  While Vishwas Trust founder trustee Olinda Pereira released the book ‘Reminiscences’, Jyoti felicitated the authors of the book on the occasion. Postulator Lillis, Fr Peter Noronha, SLFB assistant superior general Wilberta and general councillor Joy were present.
