Though police have registered case under Section 504, 506, 223, 143, 427 and IPC 149 against former Congress MLC S V Manjunath and others in connection with the assault on media at Khandya, police are yet to arrest the culprits.
Several organisations in Jayapura, Balehonnur have condemned the attack and urged government to arrest S V Manjunath and others immediately.
