There are as many as 100 houses in Koranahalli and population of over 700. There is a Dalit colony in the village, which has not yet seen even basic facilities.

The roads here are unsurfaced and not motorable. All in all the prevailing conditions in the village speak eloquently on the dedication of the elected representatives.

The only source of water supply to this village is Doddakere but it is the bore wells that the people are dependent on for drinking water. Literacy rate in the village is high and many people from the village today adorn several high posts in far away places. Jowar, Ragi, paddy are the main crops grown in the region.

The villagers demand for better infrastructure facilities in the village.
