Coal blocks allotted to these firms were declared illegal by SC

The Supreme Court recently quashed 214 coal blocks that the Union government allotted to over 100 companies since 1993.

Terming the allotment of these blocks illegal, the apex court asked the Centre to take over all the blocks. 

The government has started the follow-up action to implement the apex court order. 

The following are the names of the companies whose coal block allotments were held illegal:
