JOIN US Deccan Athletic Club’s 26th Weekend Athletic Meet, sponsored by Deccan Herald and Prajavani, will be held on November 9, 16, 23 and 30 here at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.
The meet will be held in two categories for boys (U-13 and U-16) and girls (U-12 and U-15) and is open to all the schools within Bangalore.
Athletes who participate in the first leg of the meet (November 9) will be eligible to participate in the subsequent three legs.
The top-three finishers in each event will take home cash prize of Rs 800, 500 and 300 respectively.
A best athlete award will be given for individual achievers in the boys and girls category at the conclusion of the four-leg meet.
