<p>In a fresh twist into the IPL betting and spot-fixing scandal, the voice samples of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team principal Gurunath Meiyappan, the son-in-law of former BCCI chief N Srinivasan, has been confirmed. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Meiyappan was heard speaking to Vindoo Dara Singh, the son of late wrestler-turned-actor Dara Singh.<br /><br />Meiyappan and Vindoo were arrested last year by the crime branch-CID of Mumbai Police after the IPL scandal broke. Several bookies, punters, financiers and hawala operators arrested by the police are currently on bail. All of them have been charge-sheeted by the Mumbai Police.<br /><br />Central Forensic Science Laboratory confirmed the voice samples of Meiyappan and Vindoo sent to them. <br /><br />The scandal broke during the 2013 IPL, with Delhi Police arresting three Rajasthan Royals cricketers – S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan – in a midnight raid in Mumbai. <br /><br />The Mumbai Police also unearthed betting links after they arrested Meiyappan and Vindoo. Justice Mukul Mudgal-led committee is expected to give its full report to the Supreme Court in the next few weeks.</p>
