One of the key areas would be infrastructure, water and power.<br /><br />The Krishna Valley Development Corporation would be merged with the Water Resources Department, while the Maharashtra Sate Road Development Corporation would be merged with the PWD. There would be one minister controlling Forests and Revenue, while Home and Transport would be given to one minister. <br /><br />The chief minister would handle departments like Urban, Housing, General Administration and the CMO would handle projects like Metro Rail, Mono Rail, Expressways and big-ticket infrastructure projects. </p>
