The six-year-old girl, who was sexually abused twice on Tuesday and Wednesday at The Indiranagar Cambridge School, is still under shock.

The victim’s grandmother said on Friday that the girl had not been able to come out of the trauma yet.

“Teachers are like second parents and how can a teacher commit such a heinous act on the little one?” the elderly woman said in utter disbelief.

Although the victim’s family is said to be considering shifting her to another school, their financial problems are forcing them to think twice, said a relative of the six-year-old.

The girl, a class 1 student, comes from a lower middle class family. While her mother is a housekeeper at a private firm, her father is a cab driver.

“With great difficulty they have put their two children in The Indiranagar Cambridge School. Now, they do not have the resources to shift them to another school,” the relative said.
