Thousands visit 'Hallihabba'

Coffee growers from various parts arrived in Devavrinda to participate in the festival. However, the untimely rain played the spoilsport.

Stalls of various organisations from across the State attracted visitors. Vimukti, the women’s Self-Help Group of Banakal displayed more than 70 rural delicacies prepared by them at their stall.

Yalagudi Estate proprietor Dr Srinivasan inaugurated the programme and spoke on organic farming.

KGF Chairman Dr Pradeep, Secretary Mohan Kumar, Krishika Samiti member Basanna and Proprietor of Falada Organisation, Bangalore, C M N Shastri were present at the programme.
