Vidyashilp record big win over St Joseph's

Fine allround performances by Aman Mahtani (4/14 & 125) and Abhiram Vadlamani (5/34 & 80) helped Vidyashilp Academy walk away with innings honours against St Joseph’s Boys’ High School in the inter-school (under-16) tournament for the KSCA Cup here.

  

Mahtani and Vadlamani shared nine wickets between them to skittle St Joseph’s for a paltry 97 in 49.4 overs and the duo then cracked a century and a half-century respectively to steer Vidyashilp to 294/6 in 90 overs.  

Brief scores: St Joseph’s Boys’ High School: 97 all out in 49.4 overs (MS Hussain 29; Abhiram Vadlamani 5-34, Aman Mahtani 4-14) drew Vidyashilp Academy: 294/6 in 90 overs (Abhiram Vadlamani 80, Aman Mahatani 125, Gunshiv Sisodia 26 n.o.).

Bishop Cotton Boys’ School: 199 all out in 68 overs (Tanay Valmik 47, Abheet Kuthpady 33, CR Aiyappa 30, Ayush Shetty 38 n.o.; Aman Khan 3-54, Shiva Kumar 3-47) and 70/6 in 26 overs (Advaith Jayaram 3-24, Aman Khan 2-8) drew Delhi Public School, South: 208/7 in 90 overs (Shivakumar BU 101 n.o., Jay Shah 31; CR Aiyappa 7-80).

Ebenezer International School: 335/7 in 90 overs (Rohan Nayakar 144, Kushal RS 40, Shaun Joseph 54; Chandan SR 2-91, Premnath J 2-98) and 56/3 in 18.1 overs (Tanish 34) drew School Vivekananda: 213 all out in 78.5 overs (Premnath J 64, Nitin NS 32, Chandan 29, Nachiketh D 29 n.o.; Chinmaya N 8-38). 

The Frank Anthony Public School: 225 all out in 72.1 overs (Rishiketh Prasad 64, Pranav Muthukuram 38, Luvnith Sisodia 54; Rishab 3-21, Amarnath AC 4-62) drew St Joseph’s Indian High School: 272/6 decl. in 86 overs (Vijaya Bhargav N 41, Akash Deshpande R 65, Keshav Kumar Kaushik 38, Prajwal Pawan 28, Bharath C 32 n.o., Sankalp SS 35 n.o.; Vinay Murgesh 4-57, Kamran Hashmi 2-67).
