Hit by one-offs to the tune of Rs 431 crore, Aditya Birla Group flagship company, Hindalco, reported a 77.87 per cent decline in net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2014, at Rs 79 crore, compared to Rs 357 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
Net sales during the second quarter rose by 35.67 per cent to Rs 8554 crore, compared to Rs 6,305 crore in the comparable period last year.
