Katich wary of Pak

Being the New South Wales captain, Katich knows the SCG track better than anyone else in the side and says that the pitch is expected to take some turn.

Pakistan are considering recalling experienced leg-spinner Danish Kaneria to play alongside off-spinner Saeed Ajmal in Sydney.

“The key for us is to try to win that first hour come Sunday.
“That’s always the toughest thing entering a new Test match,” Katich was quoted as saying by the Herald Sun.  

“Pakistan played some good cricket throughout. They got through the game with some good performances as the game panned out. We’re certainly wary of what Pakistan are capable of throwing at us,” Katich said.

“The conditions here will no doubt suit them. The SCG spins a bit and it’s a slower wicket, so we know we’re going to be in for a contest.”
