JOIN USThe traffic police have made the following diversions to ensure smooth flow of vehicles in view of the dedication of Kannada matinee idol Dr Rajkumar’s Memorial at the Kanteerava Studio on Saturday.
A host of high-profile personalities, including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his Cabinet colleagues, popular actors from various states and a large number of Rajkumar fans are expected to attend the event that will begin at 9 am and go on till the evening.
n Parking facility has been provided on the left side of the Ring Road opp Dr Rajkumar’s Memorial. Only 35 vehicles can be parked inside Prasad Studio. Other vehicles can be parked on the left side of the Ring Road.
n Vehicles from Krishnananda Circle towards FTI Circle (Tumakuru Road) should take a right turn at Krishnananda Circle, move towards MEI and join Tumakuru Road.
n Vehicles can take a left turn at Krishnananda Circle to reach Nandini Layout bus stand. Thereafter, vehicles can take a right turn and move towards the Ring Road. Vehicles from Peenya towards FTI Circle (Tumakuru Road) can move on Peenya 2nd Stage Sonal Garments Road, take a left turn at the ESI Junction (near Mookambika Fast Food) and proceed further.
n Vehicles can move on 100 Metre Road, TVS Cross Junction, NTTF, Peenya 2nd Stage, 14th Cross and proceed towards Magadi Road.
n Goods vehicles and trucks moving below the Sumanahalli Junction flyover and towards FTI can take a right turn at Sumanahalli Junction to join Magadi Road and proceed towards Kamakshipalya. Vehicles can take a left turn at Sumanahalli Junction and move along Magadi Road, Sunkadakatte and Nice Road.
n Vehicles from Nagarabhavi Ravi Gym and plying on the Sumanahalli flyover can take the service road at Ravi Gym and below the Sumanahalli Junction flyover. Heavy motor vehicles from Srigandha Kaval and Magadi Road moving towards Ring Road and FTI can ply on Nice Road. Vehicles can also take a right turn at Srigandha Kaval and move towards Kengeri.
n Trucks from Kengeri moving towards FTI can approach Srigandha Kaval Junction, take a left turn on Magadi Road and move on Sunkadakatte and Nice Road. Vehicles coming from Sumanahalli and plying towards the venue can move on Sumanahalli Coolinagar Bridge, take a left turn at Coolinagar Grounds and park the vehicles at the ground. Trucks from CMTI Junction moving towards FTI Junction can use the CMTI Junction and move on Tumakuru Road, take a left turn at Jalahalli Cross and a right turn at TVS Cross and move on NTTF, Peenya 2nd Stage to join Magadi Road and proceed further.
