The Autumn Winter’14 collection includes varied styles for young men and women like shirts, denims, trousers, full sleeve T-shirts, woollen T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, pullovers, jackets, coats, Nehru jackets, track suits, legging set, Indo Western kurtis, woollen tops, boomerang lowers and velvet lower. One can also find trendy cardigans, shawls, mufflers, hooded scarf, caps, cape and thermals.

“The colours which rule this season are yellow, orange, light pink, coral, grey, charcoal grey, black, deep maroon, wine colour, forest green and royal blue. Dusty bright colours like rust, maroon, yellow, ochre and burnt orange are the other colours this winter,” says Manish Chopra, Vice President – Merchandising, Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd.

The fabrics and wool have been chosen according to Indian weather conditions. The jackets have fur, interlining, special frills like printed buttons and belt with buckles. Other striking add-ons in the collection are the reversible jackets, washable reversible jackets, washed cotton jackets and detachable hooded jackets.

While mid-length and long-length coats are in fashion for women this season; the Nehru jacket is a must-have for semi-formal occasions for men, says Manish. The brand launches new styles and products every season. “This year is no different. We have come up with unique concepts for both men and women. We always study what is in style in the European markets and what applies for ours,” says Manish.

He says that for the men’s category, SweatShirt with Plugin Earphone, Formal Slim Fit Shirts and Bright Colour Nehru Jackets in pure wool, are the items that have been introduced.He adds that Urban Tunic and Track Suits in different designs are the newest offerings in the women’s category.
