Toyota posts highest sales in a year

The Innova and Corolla continued to maintain leadership in their respective segments, and the Fortuner contributed by recording sales of 3,154 units since its launch in August 2009, the company claimed. Commenting on the company’s record sales, TKM Deputy Managing Director, (Marketing) Sandeep Singh, said, “We are thrilled with our performance last year and very happy to announce our record sales growth for the calendar year and the month of December. This has been made possible thanks to a combined effort from all our dealers, vendors and each and every Toyota employee in India.  We also thank our 4.1 lakh Toyota customers in India and look forward to 2010 with higher aspirations.”
