A club in south Delhi’s New Friends Colony saw two brawls around the same time during the wee hours of Sunday.

One person each involved in the two brawls has been arrested, police said on Tuesday.

A police officer told this newspaper that both the incidents took place at Black and White club, run by a different management on Hotel Suryaa premises.

In one of the incidents, Himanshu Solanki, 21, visited the club with three friends at 12.40 am. He alleged that around 3 am, some men approached him and began assaulting him.

They said he had broken some of their belongings, he alleged in his complaint.
Among the men accused of being involved in the brawl are the club’s manager and a bouncer.

Solanki and his friends managed to catch hold of Ashish whom they later handed over to police who registered an FIR based on his complaint.
He was taken to nearby Holy Family Hospital where he discharged after treatment.

The other brawl took place over an hour before this one. Ankur Basin, involved in event management, had arrived at the club in his Fortuner car around 1.45 am.
He told police that just as he was talking to a club employee, Rahul, a resident of east Delhi’s Shahdara, confronted him and began abusing him. Basin and Rahul were known to each other.

Rahul and his two or three friends allegedly thrashed Basin.
The club staff remained mute spectators all along, he alleged in the FIR.
Basin managed to return home from where he headed to Safdarjung Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

“This case appears to be a scuffle over payment issues between the two parties. We are investigating both the cases,” said the officer.
