Mallya Aditi pull off a thrilling one-wicket win in BTR

Mallya Aditi International School pulled off a thrilling one-wicket victory over Global Residency School in the KSCA inter-school under-14 (Div III) tournament for the BT Ramaiah Shield here.

After Vikram Baidya (3/23) and Jasper (3/14) bowled well to restrict Global Residency to a modest 116 in 20.1 overs, Mallya Aditi’s chase was anything but easy.

Rahul was the standout performer with the bat amidst ruins, stroking his way to an unbeaten 75.

Rahul (3/20), Soham (2/20) and Sathwik (2/18) came up with impressive bowling performances for Global Residency but could not prevent Mallya Aditi from reaching 119/9 in 21 overs.

Brief scores: Soundarya High School: 97 all out in 24 overs (Bhairav M 4-10, Abhishek 3-11, Manjunath 2-28) lt to RMS International School: 100/1 in 17.4 overs (Harsha 46 n.o., Sameer 30 n.o.).

Global Residency School: 116 all out in 20.1 overs (Rahul R 75 n.o.; Vikram Baidya 3-23, Jasper 3-14) lt to Mallya Aditi International School: 119/9 in 23.5 overs (Rahul 3-20, Soham 2-20, Sathwik 2-18).

Baldwin’s Co- Education School: 214/1 in 21 overs (Kishore Kumar 99 n.o., Bavish 90 n.o.) bt RT Nagar Public School: 123/9 in 21 overs (Vishwas 36; Samrudh 4-16, Guru Bellath 2-21).

Mount Litera Zee School: 30 all out in 9.3 overs (Hemanth Kumar M 2-10) lt to RT Nagar Public School, ICSE: 31 for no loss in 2 overs).
