The restaurant’s authentic Oriental cuisine is its focal point, where one can see the chef’s culinary prowess in well-balanced, handpicked dishes that suit every palate. “The a lá carte menu has delectable appetisers like BBQ Chilli Fish, ‘Garlic grilled lamb’ and ‘Water Chestnuts’, which are well-balanced and versatile. The main course comprises mouth-watering dishes like ‘Hunan-style three treasure vegetables’, ‘Roasted lamb hot devils’ and seafood dishes such as ‘Sea Wars’ (mixed seafood in chilli garlic, oyster sauce),” says Hima Bindu Sudhakar, the owner of Fujian. Other food items to look out for are the assorted dumplings, unique salads like the ‘broccoli and almond salad’ and ‘Vietnamese spring rolls’. She adds that the in-house bar has a fine selection of beverages that complement the variety of food available at the restaurant.

The rooftop terrace dining is the highlight of the restaurant. Flanked by lush vertical gardens on two sides, a beautiful front-view, accentuated by wooden flooring and a shaded canopy, the space is informal, bright and relaxing.

What kind of a crowd frequents the restaurant? “A mixed crowd, varying from families to young professionals visit us at Fujian,” says Hima Bindu. She adds that the restaurant is open to change the flavours and spice levels, according to the customer’s needs. “We have changed the recipe around for people, according to their tastes,” she sums up.
