JOIN USThe new chairperson of the Karnataka Soaps and Detergent Limited (KSDL) Veronica Cornelio on Saturday said she will make a sincere effort for the development of this world-renowned company.
Speaking to reporters after assuming the office, Cornelio said she had not craved for this position. It was her party, which rewarded her with this post.
The factory had a turnover of Rs 353 crore in 2013-14 and the net profit was Rs 32 crore, which indicates that the firm is progressing. She sought people’s support to increase its profit margin.
Cornelio said she would strive to make KSDL’s products available to everyone. According to her, people in rural areas are not much aware of the products of KSDL, where the company would focus in future by holding exhibitions.
The firm will procure new machines and introduce latest technologies to increase the profit of the company.
