Dalit teen gang-raped by three for two days

A Dalit teen travelling in a private bus was allegedly gang-raped for two days by the driver and his two friends in Uttar Pradesh’s Ambedkar Nagar district, about 200 kilometres from here.

The culprits had also brutalised her and cut her hair before dumping her on the road near her village.

Police sources said she had boarded the bus to go to Hansvar village on Wednesday evening. By the time the bus neared her destination, there was no other passenger in it.
The teen alleged that the driver did not stop the bus at Hansvar and instead took it near Jehangirganj where two other youths also joined him.

They took her to an empty house where they allegedly gang-raped her for two days. All of them were drunk, she told police.

She was also assaulted and her hair was cut by them before dumping her near her village on Friday night. The victim suffered injuries on her head, face and other parts of the body.
A case has been registered against driver Luv Yadav, Vikas Yadav and Mukesh Yadav. A massive manhunt has been launched to nab them, police said.

All of them hail from the nearby villages, police added.The victim has been sent for a medical examination.
