Responding to the needs of the people, the CMC had even conducted a survey for widening the road and had earmarked fund for it. Even the court too had directed the CMC to widen the road.

At present, the CMC has decided to widen 910 metre road stretch from Chowki to A V School. The present road is only five metre wide. It will be widened to 12 metre. Footpaths and and UGD will be laid on either side of the road. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1.8 crore.
