Savour the festive spirit

12th Main’ of Grand Mercure is offering a global gourmet cuisine in the evenings as the restaurant transforms into an intimate space for casual dining at the outdoor area.

‘By The Blue’, another section offers Indian grills and a special hand crafted menu, along with innovative beverages. The Sunday brunch is a big hit dotted with fine salsa, samba music, chilled beverages and luscious desserts along with live cooking stations such as barbeque grills, fajitas stations, pasta stations and salad bars.

As the countdown to the favourite holiday season has begun, the hotel has whipped up a buffet to savour the Christmas spirit. The special menu includes a variety of salads like ‘maple glazed parsnip’ and ‘cous cous salad’, ‘winter greens and quinoa salad’ and a ‘Christmas salad with beets and orange.

For main courses, there are pasta and grill sections and chaat counters. A potpourri of treats like roast turkey, honey glazed ham, grilled scampi, seafood chowder and mince pies are available, amongst a wide array of Indian spread, cheese and desserts like ginger bread cookies and egg-nog cheese cakes.

The afternoon also includes a pour of sparkling and mulled wine. The buffet will be presented on December 25,  from12 pm to 3.30 pm at Grand Mercure, By The Blue, 3rd block, 12th main, Koramangala. For details, call 45121212.
