Tatha Ram, who hailed from Orissa, was near the Isolation Hospital when the bus, coming to the City from Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, hit him at 4:50 pm. The police said, he was seriously injured and succumbed to injuries while being shifted to hospital. The deceased was working at the nearby Metro site.
Indiranagar Traffic Police have arrested the bus driver Shiva Prasad of Chittoor besides seizing the bus. The post-mortem will be conducted at Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital on Monday. A case has been registered.
