BFC launches its official app

I-league champions Bengaluru FC launched its official App, developed by SAP Labs, here on Tuesday.

Expected to be available close to the new season of the I-League, which kicks off on January 17 here, the App will have all club-related information, besides serving as a domain for its fans to interact.

“The BFC App will provide its fans with all the club related information, be it the minute-to-minute update of the games the team is involved in or other stories related to the club, besides being a platform for the fans to engage and have a discussion.

We have tried to create an ecosystem for the fans were people find a place to have football related discussion with anyone who is interested in the same topic,” said Dilipkumar Khandelwal, Managing Director, SAP Labs India, talking about its pilot project with a sports entity in India.

The App will initially be available on iOS and Android platforms and will slowly be made available on other platforms too. “We are very excited about the initiative,” said BFC COO Mustafa Ghouse. “We are looking forward to the response from our fans when it hits the market in a month’s time.”
