This festive season, ‘Sancho’s’, which sits on the terrace of UB City, has cooked up a special winter menu.

Traditional holiday flavours combined with seasonal and fresh ingredients make for an inviting and innovative menu.

Specially crafted by chef Vikas Seth, the delicious menu spoils you for choice with a variety of thrilling and new dishes.

There are appetizers like ‘Guajillo Marinated Duck Taquitos’, Guajillo pulled duck served on homemade corn zucchini blossom quesadilla, zucchini blossoms with melted cheese in corn tortillas served with chipotle Christmas tacosalad and salsa and more.

Desserts like ‘glazed strawberries, spiced and brandied Christmas cookies stack’ and ‘Chocolate Tres Leches’ have been specially made. Vikram says, “It’s the festive season with Christmas and New Year around the corner. The climate has changed a bit, so I thought of curating the Winter Special Menu which will be running all through the year end plus couple of weeks in next year as well.”

He says some of his specials are ‘Christmas taco salad with habanero textured soy’ and ‘charred corn and zucchini chilaquiles’. He adds, “We have done some modern Mexican Christmas dishes for this menu like the ‘smoked turkey’ and ‘Mexican chorizo, apple, sage and tortabread stuffed chicken roulade’. Each dish has been thought through before adding to our Winter special menu.

The Christmas salads are done with pomegranate garnish to give a Christmas feel and charred corn chilaquiles is used for a traditional Mexican Dish feel.”  ‘Sancho’s’ is located at UB City, Lavelle Road.
