BBMP ordered to file affidavit on removal of shops

The petitioner, a City-based advocate and party in person in his public interest litigation had sought directions to remove the shops. The division bench headed by Chief Justice on November 27, 2009 had directed to remove the shops. The BBMP in its submission sought six months’ time but the Court refused to grant time saying “As it is you are not following the Court order.”
