This trendy casual wear clothesline for men is offering a wide range of options in T-shirts, polos, shirts and bottoms for fashion lovers. The collection this season captures the essence of ‘mod’ (modernist) lifestyle from 1970s and 80s in Britain and has mixed colours that range from strong to cheery dark tones.

L Joseph Muthaiyan, CEO of Blumerq says, “This collection takes us back to the good old days and cherish the British classics of the 1970s and 1980s.”

About the colours and patterns of the season, Dhanya M, Head of Design, Blumerq, says that orange is the colour trending this winter. “Hence, we chose to state it as the new black. Black has always been a key colour in men’s fashion. Therefore, this is to emphasise that orange is a must-have in your wardrobe. We have used shades of orange for shirts, overdyed long-sleeve Henleys and polos.”

In tune with the brand’s ideology, the wide range includes T-shirts with interesting lyrics taken from the hits of 1970s mod music and has combined these with interesting print techniques and patterns. “The iconic ‘mod’ symbol, new scooter prints and an interesting play of colours and patterns are bound to create a trend among the youth,” she adds.

Polka dot patterns and interpretations are not only used on T-shirts but also shirts and bottoms. She says that colour blocking in solid cut and sews, and displaced stripes are the brand’s key features. “We also saw the polka dots returning, making a bold fashion statement in men’s fashion. They go well with coloured bottoms.”

Bold stripes and fragmented shapes are used on shirts, which are accentuated with washes. In addition to the basic line of sweatshirts, the brand also has a trendy range with catchy phrases using appliqués, print techniques and a few brush stroke prints.

The bottoms are going the print way with the camo print tinted in its true nature. A range of intense coloured bottoms in tune with tops is a new addition to the bottoms range, along with the everlasting blue denim. This collection is available at all Blumerq stores and across all leading e-commerce sites.
