Speaking to reporters at the Auto Expo company Managing Director Hans Georg Hummel said “Part of investment will go towards expanding the existing plant in Tumkur near Bangalore and setting up of the second plant at Bawana in Haryana.”
The MHFPL, which is a 100 per cent subsidiary of the Germany-based Mann and Hummel Group –– will further expand its R&D centre at Bangalore, Hummel said. The Mann and Hummel Group is planning to further strengthen the Bangalore R&D centre as the hub for Offshore Engineering Solutions catering to specific requirements of other overseas units, he said.
